50 Cent Reveals Eminem Music Ideas & Talks Kendrick Lamar's "Power" Appearance

LOS ANGELES, CA – Although he has been separated by from Eminem’s Shady Record imprint for several years now, 50 Cent and his former label boss have remained the best of friends.

Which is why when Larry King asked about his new music plans, he couldn’t contain the chance to speak on reuniting on wax with Mr. Marshall Mathers.

“There’s a few ideas I’ve been working on,” 50 replied. “When I was working with [Eminem] in London, he said he had maybe a few ideas that maybe we could work on together.”

When asked when the world could expect to be blessed with said music, Fiddy admitted he and Slim simply needed to buckle down and record the ideas.

Although bidding words in today’s streaming age are fairly commonplace, 50 Cent’s ascension to prominence is a thing of legend. After signing with Eminem in 2002, he released his debut studio album, 2003’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’, which went on to sell more than 12 million copies by the end of the year.

Eminem and 50 Cent’s last single, titled “My Life” dropped in 2012 and featured Maroon 5’s Adam Levine.

Elsewhere in the interview, King asked about Kendrick Lamar’s internet-breaking Powercameo, where it was discovered the Pulitzer Prize winner actually had a few options to his silver screen debut.

“Because I was around him so early on, when he got ready to do some acting, I had already expressed to him that he should do it,” he recalled. “He picked a pretty tough character to play for his first [role].”

Additionally, 50 offered up some clarity on the Terry Crews situation.
